Inundation over a long period of time on rice paddy field is an important source for groundwater recharge. If the functions of farm soil leaching and groundwater recharge from irrigation water arefully utilized,there must be certain effects on regional groundwater and fram soil.Therefore,this project selected a paddy field in Taoyuan aera to conduct the investigation on farm soil and groundwater recharge function from irrigation water.Firld measurements of paddy field characteristics were processed,including irrigation water quality, infiltration capability and groundwater recharging. The results can be provided to the related agents for references in function assessment of farm irrigation water.
