This project is sponsored by Agricultural of Council, Executive Yuan, Republic of China, Taoyuan Irrigation Research & Development Foundation, Environment Greening Foundation, and T Sao-Jiin Memorial Foundation for R & D for Agricultural and Irrigation and collaborate with International Water Management Institute (IWMI), which is the forerunner of the International Irrigation Management Institute (IIMI). The research is conducted on study filed of Sri Lanka, Mexico, and Pakistan. The main purpose of this study is to understand nonagricultural use of irrigation water and the impact for human health when irrigation water as drinking water. Furthermore, this collaborative research not only makes a reference for water resources policy to our government but introduce our irrigation technology to the world.
